Club Access By State
Sweeps casinos run promotional sweepstakes rather than licensed gambling, which is why most of the country can join. Four states cannot.
The Four Closed States
Washington, Nevada, Idaho and California. Every member of this club applies that block itself, at sign-up and again at verification. A membership opened in one of those states will not clear the identity check and a payout will not be released.
That decision comes from the operators and their lawyers, and it is applied consistently across the market. There is no workaround worth publishing.
Everywhere Else
In the rest of the country you can join, claim the free package and request payouts normally. The age minimum is eighteen at most members and twenty-one at a few, which the individual reviews note.
What verification asks for
Name, date of birth, address and usually a photo of a government ID. Some members add a selfie step. It happens once and it took between a few minutes and two days across the eighteen memberships we opened.
Travelling with a membership
Location is checked during play, not only at sign-up, so logging in from a closed state normally suspends play until you return. Treat those four states as genuinely off limits rather than as a technicality.
Not Legal Advice
This page reflects what we found in July 2026 while running eighteen memberships. Rules change, operators withdraw from markets and terms are rewritten. Read the operator terms for your own state before joining, and ask their support in writing if anything is unclear.
